  • 10:27 was born from violence and blood, broken bones and acid. She woke to gentle rain on her face with no purpose to her being.

    She became ruthless, an underground fighter clinging onto the reality she had carved out for herself, like a ravenous dog fighting for food scraps. She rose to the top, mercilessly chewing her competitors out. No one was to stand in her way.


    It was almost a year after her awakening she picked up the name 10:27, the timestamp of her first victory in the ring. Before that, she'd simply shrug and mumble something if asked for a name, an identity. With the mantle of 10:27 came a reputation that slowly spread through the underworld and alongside with the reputation, came the rumors. Rumors of an ugly and ruthless woman who was supposedly undefeatable in the ring. People questioned her origin, her motives and her identity, 10:27 herself included.

    She is looking for answers to her existence, and if she has to beat it out of people - so be it.



    PERSONALITY

    10:27 has learned to solve her problems with violence. Any problem will either be solved or simply disappear if you hit it hard enough. Still, she is torn; remnants of the person she used to be shining through at times, conflicting with who she is now. She is barely holding herself together, teetering on a breakdown at any moment, like a rubber-band ready to snap. She struggles with breaking her mind away from violence, having been the only concrete thing she had known. It makes her come off as aggressive and almost feral towards strangers.

    She is pushing towards the edges of cyberpsychosis. Her body and mind not able to keep up with her cybernetic enhancement. She feels alienated at times, and sees herself as nothing more than a thing that is able to remove other things in her way. With that comes hallucinations, both from the past and from whatever her brain can cook up for her. It sparks a restlessness in her that she tries to force away with vigorous exercise or taking whatever job she can her hands on in Night City.

    In the end, 10:27 is searching for somebody to be instead of simply a timestamp.



    CYBERPSYCHOSIS

    It is classified as a mental illness, specifically a dissociative disorder, caused by an overload of cybernetic augmentations to the body.

    Not all cyberpsychos are violent, but a high number of violent outbursts have been reported in Night City. The cyberpsycho becomes out of touch and forget what it is like to be human. Their world view become more simplistic; you are a thing and you want to remove the obstacle in your path.
